I don't usually write reviews, but I really could have used some good reviews when I was considering this. Why I bought this: 1. I live in NYC and anything space-saving and multi-purpose is great. 2. I wanted an organic mattress, but could't really afford it, so I think going for something smaller is generally better for the environment than bigger (mattress, boxspring, bed frame) 3. My husband and I co-sleep with our baby and we wanted a King size (approximately) bed without taking up so much space. Also, this is low to the ground, so no need to worry about baby falling off of it. Why this is so great: 1. It is VERY comfortable. I'm fairly happy with this. It's reasonably priced, reasonably comfortable and the fact that it folds up into a seat is a huge plus for space saving purposes. For an adult to sleep on it's kind of narrow. There is not a lot of room to roll over obviously but other than that I thought it was fairly comfy for what it is (if you want to use it as a bed for an adult consider getting two and putting them together). For a kid it's decent size. My 3 years old uses it and she's happy with it. We mainly purchased it for her to use while her room was hijacked by some house guests. Sometimes I woke up in the morning and found her on the floor next to it, but most days she managed to stay on. In short I don't think it's a substitute for a bed, atleast not in my family, but it's great to have it around and it doesn't take much room. |
